My take on prayer is that we do not pray (or should not) to convince God to do something on our behalf (heal us, pay the mortgage, etc.) but rather to come into communion with Him to give us guidance, wisdom, compassion, etc. to deal with an often chaotic and uncertain world. I think it should be more listening and less talking. Although I don’t believe in miracles, that is a very inspiring post.
